Upside & Compass (2017-2023)
Objective: Regularly socialize research, sharing both current project summaries and foundational insights to boost research efficiency and integration.
Methods: research reviews, team collaboration, data syntheses of primary + behavioral data
Outcome: Provided essential recaps and detailed journey maps before strategic Design changes, highlighted barriers to product adoption, summarized a year of stealth CEO requests before major product pivot announcement.
Impact: Over 3 years led Upside Research as function was integrated with Product & Design through a significant brand pivot, doubling of its footprint, launch of key new verticals (including grocery), and development of a new payment product. New CXO credited my extensive work by saying that Research (including a scrappy brand recap) reduced “onboarding from 3 months to 3 weeks.”
